Combo Classes

​

Combo classes are the perfect way to explore multiple styles of dance within a single class. All dancers will have the opportunity to learn tap, jazz, and ballet during their 45-minute session. Through these various dance styles, dancers will enhance their flexibility, coordination, basic technique, and self-confidence.

​

Dress Code:

For all combo classes, students are required to have tap shoes and either ballet or jazz shoes. Dancers are welcome to wear any dance outfit of their preference, such as leotard, skirt, or tights, as long as it allows them to move without any distractions.

​

Tumbling Classes

​

Students are introduced to basic tumbling positions, including forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, back bends, and back walkovers. This structured class will encourage self-confidence while building hand-eye coordination, balance, and strength.

​

Dress Code:

All tumbling classes require students to wear athletic wear (t-shirts and shorts) or a leotard, as long as they can move and stretch without any distractions.

​

Jazz/Lyrical

​

This energetic class combines stretching and basic jazz technique. Dancers will have fun while learning jazz elements and then working on them throughout the season. These fundamentals will include jazz progressions, turns, and leaps. Lyrical builds from a from a foundation of ballet and jazz, expressing emotions through their body. 

​

Dress code:

Jazz/Lyrical class requires the dancer to wear jazz shoes or pirouettes. Dancers should wear anything they can move and stretch in, but no jean shorts or jeans. Please have dancers' hair pulled back when in class.

​

Pom

​

Our Pom class blends the elements of cheer and jazz, as well as stretching, to create an upbeat and energetic class! They will learn arm placements and jumps, similar to what they would in a cheer class, while also focusing on proper dance technique as they move across the floor.

​

Dress Code:

Pom class requires dancers to wear jazz shoes or pirouettes. Dancers should wear attire that allows them to move and stretch comfortably, but please avoid wearing jean shorts or jeans. Additionally, please ensure that dancers have their hair pulled back when in class.

​

Hip Hop/Tumble

​

Our hip-hop/tumble class is a fun combo class designed for young children. This class incorporates various elements, including a warm-up, movements across the floor, and center combinations, which make up half of the 45-minute session. The remaining half is dedicated to teaching basic tumbling tricks. This class is an ideal choice for enhancing coordination skills.

​

Dress Code:

For the hip-hop/tumble class, students are required to wear tennis shoes and clothing that allows for ease of movement. Please refrain from wearing jeans or jean shorts.

Ballet

Ballet class focuses on strength, flexibility and technique. Class will include center work and across the floor while learning positions and terminology. 

Dress Code:

Ballet requires them to have ballet shoes and a leotard. Please refrain from wearing jeans, jean shorts or anything baggy.

Tap

Tap class teaches the dancer musicality and rhythm. Class will include center work and across the floor while having fun and learning sounds and coordination.

Dress Code:

Tap class requires the dancer to have tap shoes and anything that they can move in.
